Qadimgi Sharq observatoriyalarining nomi. Astronomik, geofizik, meteorologik va boshqa tadqiqotlar uchun maxsus jihozlangan ilmiy muassasa va shu muassasa joylashgan bino. Dastlab, obʼyektlarni kuzatish bilan shugʻullanadigan joy sifatida paydo boʻlgan, keyinchalik ta’limiy muassasaga aylangan. Rasadxonada vaqtni oʻlchash, quyosh faolligi, quyosh va oy tutilishi, meteorologik, seysmik kuzatishlar va boshqa ishlar olib boriladi. Rasadxonalarda astronomik, magnit, gidrometeorologik, seysmik va boshqa kuzatish hamda tadqiqotlar olib boriladi. Astronomik rasadxonalardan tashqari, aerologik rasadxonalar, dengiz rasadxonalari, geofizik rasadxonalar, kosmik rasadxonalar, magnit rasadxonalari, meteorologik rasadxonalar mavjud.
Location used for observing terrestrial, marine, or celestial events. Astronomy, climatology/meteorology, geophysical, oceanography and volcanology are examples of disciplines for which observatories have been constructed. Originally, it was a place to observe objects, but later it became an educational institution. The observatory conducts time measurements, solar activity, solar and lunar eclipses, meteorological, seismic observations and other activities. Astronomical, magnetic, hydrometeorological, seismic and other observations and researches are carried out in observatories. In addition to astronomical observatories, there are also aerological observatories, marine observatories, geophysical observatories, space-based observatories, magnetic observatories, meteorological observatories
