The first thing I noticed about the Shady Rest was how perfect everything was: the sky a uniform blue with occasional puffy white clouds, the temperature comfortably warm, the trees vividly green and waving in the gentle breeze, the streets all spotlessly clean, and every lawn well manicured, with fragrant flowers lining every border and birdsong filling the air.
